As a Plant Maintenance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines and facilities. Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and implement all maintenance activities for production lines and facilities.
- Direct repairs, service, and maintenance of industrial equipment; manage workflow and develop schedules; maintain records.
- Oversee quality control for in-house and vendor repairs; make decisions regarding equipment, materials, and supply usage.
- Provide direction and oversight to the Plant Maintenance Staff.
- Establish, maintain, and oversee the plant operations maintenance program and shop safety.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers.
- Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of maintenance management experience.
- Hands-on expertise in Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Electrical (including 3 phase), Mechanical, Welding, and Programmed Logic Controls (PLCs).
- Minimum 5 to 7 years demonstrated experience in a supervisory capacity.
- Understanding of maintenance practices related to Heavy Equipment and Machinery, including industrial balers, conveyors, optical readers, and electro-mechanical devices.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and manufacturer equipment manuals.
- Proficiency with MS Office products.
- Strong analytical skills focusing on detail, cost drivers, and total cost of ownership.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with varying timelines.
- Willingness to work any shift, holidays, and weekends as required.
- Capability to work in diverse environments including hot, cold, wet, and dusty conditions.
- Professional certification desired.
